Primarily health care, the pharmaceutical and corporate sector, and higher education settings, though custom well-being strategies can be applied to nearly any industry.

Can you provide me an intervention or solution that works?

Yes. While there is no magic bullet, one-size-fits-all solution or quick fix for organizational well-being, developing a well-being strategy takes time and intentionality tailored to the unique needs of your organization. You are not alone!

Is wellness and well-being the same?

No. Wellness refers to an individual's holistic state of health and being, while workplace well-being focuses more on how we do our work vs. who is doing it. It is about the systems and processes in our work environments rather than an individual’s resilience or coping strategies around the systems we’ve created.

What is burnout?

Burnout is an occupational phenomenon. Workplace well-being depends on our leadership, productivity, and organizational systems, processes and workflows, and their impact on the overall workforce experience.

Who is responsible for workplace well-being?

Leaders are key in setting the tone for workplace well-being. A workplace well-being strategy starts with leadership as part of a broader organizational strategy that leverages the expertise and input of its workforce.

Is well-being HR's responsibility?

It can be - if HR has a seat at the executive table and advocates for workforce well-being as part of the overall organizational strategy - and has the support of executive leadership and other key partners.

Is well-being up to the individual?

Personal responsibility matters. However, well-being at work is not only achieved through employee assistance programs, mindfulness training, or individual coping strategies. It is not a luxury, or something "off-to-the-side". Instead, it is a a focused, system-level organizational strategy that involves leadership at all levels in determining how work is prioritized, accomplished, and communicated.

How do well-being and DEI fit together?

Well-being and DEI intersect at the foundation of psychological safety, where individuals feel safe to be their authentic selves at work. My career has long included application of DEI values and principles, and are embedded in my well-being work.

What is your consulting approach?

I bring insights from multiple industries — pharmaceutical, payer, and provider — to solve complex problems, including improving workplace well-being. My experience allows me to see the big picture while addressing local needs. My goal isn’t to leave you with a “binder” of recommendations that are never opened, but instead to equip you with actionable principles and tools you can use to advance your organization.

What is your coaching approach?

Put simply, I help clients gain self-permission to take the steps they want, guiding them to identify and move in the direction of what they truly value. My coaching is rooted in self-reflection and awareness
